DBT

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based, psychoeducational model designed to help clients learn and practice basic tools for managing compulsive, addictive, and self-harming behaviors; intrusive thoughts; intense or overwhelming feelings; chronic feelings of emptiness; ongoing relationship crises; and other painful experiences.

Rooted in principles of mindfulness practice, existential philosophy, developmental psychology, and cognitive/behavioral therapy, DBT skills training is particularly helpful to clients in the early stages of any kind of recovery process or those who find themselves stuck in destructive patterns that are hard to break.

EMDR

EMDR therapy is a remarkable treatment method used to process and resolve traumatic events and other unresolved issues. EMDR uses bilateral Stimulation either left/right eye movement, sound or tactile stimulation, which repeatedly activates the opposite sides of the brain. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is the most effective and rapid method for healing PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) as shown by extensive scientific research studies.

Rooted in principles of mindfulness practice, existential philosophy, developmental psychology, and cognitive/behavioral therapy, DBT skills training is particularly helpful to clients in the early stages of any kind of recovery process or those who find themselves stuck in destructive patterns that are hard to break.

Hakomi

The Hakomi Method of Experiential Psychotherapy is a body-centered and mindfulness-based psychotherapy first developed by Ron Kurtz. The approach uses mindfulness and the innate wisdom of your body to safely recall and reexamine past experiences; uncover hidden core beliefs that shape your life; and open new life possibilities and choices. Hakomi is based in the belief that mind, body and spirit operate together, not as disconnected parts.
